Summer is for birthdays! My Mom always made me a bunny cake for my June birthday when I was growing up.
DH has a summer birthday too and he loves his iced sugar cookies... especially beer ones!
Summer is a field of local sunflowers.
Summer is seeing Daylilies in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
Summer was visiting Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, many years ago.
Another summer, with an added boy!
Summer was flying to Hawaii with pilots in training!
Summer was traveling the road to Hana.
Summer was seeing glaciers in Alaska.
Summer was tubing there too!
Summer is always about having ice cream!
Summer is even enjoying beer flavoured ice cream in Canada.

What lovely 'Summer' pictures - its lovely seeing your G men growing up. Our grandsons are now young men too and we have a similar photograph of them 'piloting' a Vulcan. Time flies. Love the icecream pictures and your beautiful stitching but all those day lilies must be my choice of favourite this week, memories of African summers perhaps. x

I have a summer birthday too - not that it's ever celebrated much. Resident Chef's is the day before mine so we generally do something for his and mine is lumped in with it. We used to go out for supper pre-covid but that won't be happening for another year anyway. So much fun to see all your summer photos and to see your boys growth!
