TH Thursday

THinking, THinking, THinking...

THinking THoughts, and being THankful on THursdays.

What household chore are you thankful for?
Oh boy, so many to choose from! 😉
But seriously... is it putting away the groceries that I was able to buy at the store? Is it washing the dishes that we had food on? Is it cleaning the dirty clothes that we've worn? Is it cleaning the bathrooms that we have inside our home? Is it making the beds that we sleep in? Is it being able to turn on a vacuum to clean our floors? Is it taking care of our cats who give us unconditional love?
Well, I know my least favourite one is cleaning the cat litter. Even though Ming pees in the toilet, she has yet to do anything else in there!
But probably the one I don't really mind doing, and find somewhat relaxing, is the laundry. Of course it never fails, I've just finished and someone throws something down the laundry chute!

So what chore are you thankful for? (And what's your least favourite?!)

My most favorite chore is laundry, too. Something about it is just so satisfying, even if it does to magically begin accumulating, just as soon as that last load is finished! :)

Yes, we do have so much to be thankful for.

I'm sorry but thankful for chores? LOL No way! I hate chores. The one thing I do like is the feeling after I do chores. The feeling I did something to be helpful. I did something to help our household. When my hubby gets home and tells me job well done. So I'm not thankful for the chore I'm thankful for the feeling after the chore. My least favorite chore is laundry. Our bedroom has enough clothes to open our own clothing store. I need to organize and get rid of all the stuff I don't wear. It's the no place to put the clean stuff feeling that kills me.

Ok, I hate meal planning. The shopp9ing is fine I just get tired of the planning. However, I am so thankful for having food to eat. I love to clean my wonderful home. I have collected antiques for years and when I clean, I get a chance to really look at them.

I don't mind laundry, it takes 5 minutes to chuck it in the machine, and ironing because I can listen to music and there's a nice pile of evidence to prove you've done it!
I would like a laundry shute but I have a feeling the Small Boy would try get down it himself.
I hate vacuuming and dusting because it just settles back when you've done it!

The smell of clothes after they have been out on the washing line when you iron them is lovely...so I guess I would have to choose that.
Least favourite .... not sure I have one.
