That about sums up my Tuesday! I got to finally meet a fellow cross stitcher, we’ve been emailing each other and finally got together. We met at The Stitching Post, where I got to learn about Crescent Colors and different fabrics. There were so many things I wanted to buy, but contained myself since I already have so much I should finish first. Both of us would like to learn hardanger, so that should be fun if we get to do it together somehow. From there we went to have some lunch and before we knew it, it was time to go! I can’t believe I had a camera with me and totally forgot to snap a picture of us together. Well, she’s definitely a keeper and I look forward to getting together again, hopefully in the near future. Hugs to you, DJ!!!
Rest of This Afternoon - Snow with possible sleet and thunderstorms. Snow may be heavy at times. Snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Highs in the lower 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Tonight - Snow...mainly in the evening. Snow may be heavy at times in the evening. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Lows in the mid 20s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent. Of course this is nothing to what we got last year, I’m hoping this one will make up for the teasers we’ve gotten so far!
My other treasure was my husband fixing my laptop. The cord hasn’t been working properly and I’ve had to pull at it to get it to charge. But I’m sure it wasn’t really my fault! It finally died and didn’t even have enough juice to even attempt to get it to work. He came home after working late and being at Scout’s with the boys, after 9pm or so; sort of got something to eat and then took the cord away to do “surgery”. Figured out the inside had also been messing up from the cord being twisted – or something like that – I’m sure it still wasn’t my fault! ; ) So after taking it apart, misplacing screws, trying to reattach it, spilling his drink (luckily on the carpet), and using colourful words just a little bit, he got it working again! So here I am, back online and being very careful with the cord until I get a new one. Thanks, Honey!

I hope your family is home safe and sound now that the "weather event" is well under way!! I've been listening to thunder...how cool is that?? We'll have to make it a priority to get together soon, that was way too much fun...and as far as nuts...they run rampant in my family (you are what you eat you know? LOL) Can't wait to try your zucchini bread!! You really don't have to bribe me though...I really did like you!! LOL *hugs*
How fun you got to chat and shop stitchy stuff. I know so little about all that's out there I don't know what 'hardanger' is! LOL but I DO know what Crescent Color floss is and that I don't have a store near me to buy from boo hoo!
Stay safe and warm! We are going to be having 60 degree weather here...crazy!

How fun to meet a fellow stitcher! I'm so glad your hubby got your laptop working again!
I love the Stitching Post as well and was thinking I would love to get up there but decided I would wait until this coming weekend. Glad your hubby could get your laptop back in working order!
