A delayed Easter treat!

Wahoo! Look what I received in the post today!
All the way from Ariadne from Greece.

I'm not quite sure why it took so long, she sent it on March 30th!

I opened the box and this is what was inside.

And what it looked like without the wrapping...

Lovely purple flower fabric, bookmarks and postcards, scenic magnet, adorable paper eggs, a little diary, and ladybird chocolates.

I'll share the chocolates with the boys, but the rest is mine!

She will be hanging in my craft room year round.

What is something you own that you are thankful for?

Even though it's on its last "leg", I'm going to say my vehicle. It takes me where I need to go, and I can take six people with me! It's taken me/us on vacation, it's taught two young men how to drive, it's hauled boxes, and so much more!

Now I'm looking for a new one, ugh!

Um, one less Peep.

I participated in Kaye @ Kitten Stitching's Easter exchange, and this is what I sent.

This was the first time I made a cube and it won't be the last, I like the way it turned out! I left room at the top thinking a bow was going to go there, but it just didn't work out. So I added some flowers instead. 

 And after I was finished, I noticed I had forgotten to add my initials and date like I normally do, ugh.
I know it made it there on time, I'm just not sure when she picked it up.

And I keep forgetting to mention...

THinking THoughts, and being THankful on THursdays.

What animal are you thankful for?

CATS!

As I was getting ready to write this, these two decide to get right in front of me and start fighting. 

Now I do like dogs, but we don't have any. I don't mind dog sitting and I love being around dogs, but these two kitties are enough! Nathan and I love Huskies, but the thought of all that hair in addition to what the cats share, oh my! DH loves Boxers, but they are a bit too hyper for me. So cats it is!

These two are great snugglers, they love to talk, they follow me around the house just waiting for me to sit down so they can join me, they're my stitching buddies, they entertain us, and they sleep with me every night.

Gotto go, Ming's telling me it's time for their dinner!

What happened today that you are thankful for?

I'm thankful I was able to see the Gmen for lunch today since I won't be seeing them both tomorrow on their 19th birthday. 

Gman1 left this evening for his fraternity formal, so he won't be in town this weekend. I knew it was going to happen some day, but I'm still not ready for it!

So tomorrow we'll celebrate with Gman2 and then next weekend with Gman1. And they both want Margarita cakes!

And this morning I found him totally relaxing and eating in the "bird" feeder. I thought about changing over to peanuts, but I'm not sure I need to encourage him!

And in stitchy news, Nathan wanted to stitch again!

This kit has been okay, but his next project will be with real floss. I have a feeling it will be Pokemon related!
