Scavenger Photo Hunt - Pumpkin πŸ“·πŸŽƒ

Welcome to the first word of the Scavenger Photo Hunt for October. As always, anyone can join in with whatever inspires you and I can always add it after the sign up is closed.
Another week of being late posting, there's been so much going on with my Dad having a heart attack last week and coming to help out with my Mom, and then making arrangements for help while I went to a stitching retreat. Everything worked out in the end and I'm here again with them now to help out some more. And he's doing great!
So, for last week's word -

Pumpkin
Awe, back when the Gmen were little and so stinkin' cute!
Those were some big pumpkins.

Eight out of nine cousins in their personally created pumpkin shirts. I made one too and still wear it!

And here's little Nathan wearing his again when we went to Harpers Ferry.

He finally outgrew it, but still happy to pose with the pumpkins!

Maximus and Ming tolerating loving their collars.

OMGoodness, these are delicious!

Boba Fett

Phineas, Ferb and Perry

Cat and Bat

Gman2/Buzz

Gman1/Woody

Bat and haunted house

Peek a boo, Ming!

Pregnant with a perfect little pumpkin!

AKA, Nathan!

A variety of pumpkins, such fun!

And just like that, tomorrow is Friday and there's a new word to blog about - Candy.

One of these days I'll get my act together to read and comment on blogs!

Scavenger Photo Hunt, October πŸ“·

In spite of the rain yesterday and a bit of a dreary day today, I'm loving the fall! It's been cool, although a little too cold at times, but the colours sure have been beautiful. Now it's time for Katie and her I live, I love, I craft, I am me ... scavenger photo hunt.

The words for October are...

Sweet treat...
When the Gmen played football in high school, I used to make these mini pumpkin donuts for the team. Twelve dozen, every week for the season. Guess what Gman2 has asked for when he comes home for Nathan's birthday next month?!

Starts with a W...
Waterfall! Niagara Falls, Canadian side specifically.
We went to Canada to celebrate my 50th birthday several years ago and this was our first stop. Beautiful and VERY loud!

Reading now...
I started reading this when dear Tina gave this to me earlier in the year when she and Connie came over for a lunch visit. Sadly, I put it aside and haven't finished it yet! It is written by her Dad, about the radio ministry he started with his brother, which is 95.1 SHINE-FM, the radio station I listen to and volunteer at when I can.

Hobby/crafting...
Here's where the crafting starts, and sometimes finishes! In the midst of making masks and trying to frame long finished cross stitching, it can get busy in there.

This is a piece I finally framed, although I'm not really sure I like it. I might have to switch it out later for a bigger frame and add a mat or two.

Something Purple...
Whenever I think of purple I think of Lexi, it was her favourite colour. I've known Petr since we were in kindergarten, and Lexi was his precious daughter who died of cancer when she was eight. Every year they have a fundraiser, Laps for Lexi, where there is LOTS of purple!

My own choice...
Ahh, roasted PEEPS on the fire, yummy goodness!!
Sadly there are no Halloween PEEPS this year due to Covid19, but there's always next year. They will have them at Easter though!

I realized I never finished reading and commenting on last month's hunt, so I'll be catching up on them when reading this one.
Please note, I try and respond to each comment but I can't when there's no email with your account. I do appreciate them though!
Until next month, Happy Halloween if you're a big kid like me!

Scavenger Photo Hunt, September πŸ“·

Finally, it's beginning to feel like fall! I'm so looking forward to seeing all those beautiful colours in the falling leaves. And now it's time for Katie and her I live, I love, I craft, I am me ... scavenger photo hunt.

The words for September are...

Seasonal...
Although you might not recognize this from last month's photo, this is our old house at Halloween, several years before the tear down. I love all the leaves in the front, but DH not so much!

Favourite seat/place to sit...
I have plenty of places I enjoy sitting, but since I'm back helping out my parents this week, this is my favourite spot while here. Their Gartenhaus is the perfect place for stitching.

Comforting/cosy...
I know this is a cosy spot I really enjoy being next to, Ming and Maximus too!

Delight/ed/ful...
Since it's officially fall, I'm all in for pumpkins, especially the coffee.. and muffins... and donuts... and ice cream... and cheesecake... you get the idea.

Micro/mini/teeny tiny...
This is sweet little Addie, my parents pup. She was certainly a tiny one when we picked her up for them last summer, she fit in Nathan's hat!

My own choice...
And another view of the Gartenhaus, I took this today while in my Mom's chapel. Can you see tree on the left is showing some colour? Yay!

And there you have September, be sure to take at look at what the others have posted.
See you next month! πŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ¦‡
