A Hodgepodge ๐Ÿ“‚

I took a detour to a thrift shop after Nathan's dental appointment last week and found these treasures.

This was what was inside and why I bought it. I think St. Nicholas will be my first one.

I liked this one, so I got it too.

This one I bought at my LNS, The Stitching Post, it was on display and I couldn't resist it!

Then with Joann having their 40% off sale, I bought some of these since they finally had them there. I didn't buy all the colours, but all the ones I thought were pretty!

This was a quick one I finished. I needed to feel like I accomplished something and this was it! I just need to fully finish it.

Nathan was happy on Saturday, with this entourage cheering him at his game. And they won!

On Monday, DH and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary.
Here's a back view of my dress, you don't see that very often.

And one of my favourite pics, it was a little breezy!

A honeymoon picture on our cruise, so young!

Our photo in front of the chapel before heading out to dinner.

This is looking in through the door at the sun shining on the stained glass, just beautiful!

Not only did I receive lovely roses, but carnations too.

Great finds. Love the Christmas Eve one from Waxing Moon. Great new floss. I think those are the ones that Rachel sent in my gift box. Great colors. I quickly added the Mill Hill to my wish list. Turned out even more cute than I thought. Happy Anniversary!!! Love the pics.

The book was a great find; how lovely to see some non-commercialised interpretations of Father Christmas.
Love the little Mill Hill kit (don't forget to link up to my FFG SAL once you've finished it!) and the threads. My mum's used them a lot and loves them (Thread Heaven, or equivalent, advised though!)
Happy anniversary too. Neither of you have aged a day! :)

Happy Anniversary! Gosh I thought I was looking at one of the Gmen when I saw your wedding photo!!
Wow, great purchases! Love the book! If those are ร‰toile threads I used them at Christmas for my sampler, using 2 strands, cut shorter length than usual (approx 12 inches), I worked carefully, and my stitching turned out perfectly without thread heaven (just saying! And not that I could buy any if I wanted, it’s not available any more here). Hope you have fun using them!
Great photos!
Hugs,
Barbara xx

Happy (late) anniversary! Such fun to see the pictures from your wedding - beautiful dress!

That's some thrift store - great goodies you found. And with your Joann's coupon, is that DMC with sparkle? Fun!

i didn't know Jo-Ann's had the Mouline Floss; I'll have to head over there sometime soon.
I love the little Halloween finish--I've been looking at that one and at its companion piece.
Happy Anniversary! Your sons definitely take after your husband!
