Even though this didn't get done in time for our anniversary, I'm still stitching and will be done with it whenever.

From far away it looks okay, so I'll keep at it, making it my own.
And later it was movie time with the boys and kitties, no dogs allowed!
Chewie is still crying when we first put him in his crate at bedtime, but he's getting better and will sleep until about 6:30 or so.
He likes to jump on you for kisses, but we're trying to stop that. I do have a water bottle to squirt him with when he's jumping or trying to get the cats and he's not very fond of it. Ming still teases him by meowing to announce her arrival in the room and then runs when he wants to check her out. Her favourite is running upstairs because Chewie is too scared to go up that far. Max is slowly coming out more, but he's still very skittish.
Chewie still has a lot of learning to do, but we just need to be consistent with him. Do you have any dog training tips to share?

Astrid: I feel so sorry for him, I am sure the cats will come around hopefully soon.
We started using just the flat side of our hand saying no each and every time Krissy jumped or barked, it took a little while bit worked, the water did not work she like to be in water.
I like the heart it is lovely.

The only tip I have for jumping dogs is to raise your knee the minute you see him coming - after he hits himself in the chest a few times it might serve to remind him that it's not a pleasant thing. That, along with a loudly uttered 'no' should help - or at least it did with any dogs we ever had. Hopefully peaceful co-existence will reign soon!

Your heart project is so pretty. Due top a very bad animal allergy I have not had the joy of training dogs or cats.
Consistency is the key, everyone giving the same instructions - jumping up tip 'put your hand out palm up towards him and say a firm NO' if you are standing you can then turn your back. Hope that helps, love your heart stitching

Our Boys liked getting squirted with the water! ha ha So that didn't work at all. Now you have to split your time between the human and furry boys! Great start to your Corners of the World. Have a great week.
It's still early days with Hudson. I expect the love and attention you are giving him will soon work wonders alongside whatever training techniques you find. :)

I have no dog-training tips, we have had cats that train us. We did have a particularly dopey guard-dog when I was a very little girl. She got out one day and went to play with the dogs over the road. Result = 8 half-Dobermann puppies!
I think the stitching is very pretty!
