No beer tasting this afternoon, I was on lunch duty! But I did get to stitch in between lunches.
I just need to finish the sails and then start back stitching. Plenty of time to be ready for my Dad on Father's Day.
In other news... The hawks are back!
Last year there were three adults and this year I only saw two initially. Today I noticed three again. Older sibling who won't leave the nest? Aunt or Uncle? Grandparent?
They seem like they all get along well.
Baby! So adorable.

I really like the piece you are making for your Dad Astrid. How will you be finishing it? The hawks are really neat!
Your little ship in a bottle is lovely. Even though you've shown the finished I am eager to see the transformation once the backstitching has been added.
I guess with hawks around you don't get any of the smaller garden birds? :)
I love raptors so your hawks really got me. Also love the piece you are making for your dad, it's one my dad would have liked as well.

WOW the hawks look great! We have lots around here but we don't see them close up which may be good since we have small dogs.
Looks like that piece will be finished by Father's Day!
Great photos of the hawks, lovely stitching as always
How wonderful to have hawks nesting, lovely photos too.
Gorgeous hawks.
I spotted another mermaid in your travelling stitching bag
I just love this pattern. So cute. Can't wait to see how you finish it for your dad. Love the hawks.
Oh wow - how amazing to see hawks up close! x
Nice little stitched piece for your dad and wonderful to see hawks so close up.
Great sailboat you are making for your Dad Astrid. Wow on those hawk photos. RJ
I love the little ship in the bottle you were stitching for your dad. I'm sure you've already given it to him and he loved it, especially because it was something made by you.
