Jackpot!

I met my friend, Tara, today after getting my haircut this morning.  We've been friends since elementary school and lived on the same street all those years ago.  My Mother used to call us the terrible twins growing up and enough people think we're sisters now, so I guess it worked - it's those darn noses!
Anyway, we shopped, shopped and shopped some more... Christmas is coming, you know!

Well, the Roses didn't come in a tin, but the Quality Street did!  The only thing I needed more of was Mom's German coffee, maybe next time.  I know I probably shouldn't have bought the mince pies since my parents make them for Christmas, but I couldn't wait that long!  I didn't find any Pfeffernüsse, so I'll have to add that to my baking.

I also found some Christmas crackers, it's not Christmas without them in our house!  Ming & Max are keeping watch over them because you never who will get into to get the goodies.  When my little brother and I were younger, we found a huge box full of crackers and took out every single prize - my parents couldn't understand why there wasn't anything in them come Christmas time!

I've never bought 'crackers'. Tell me more. What is usually in them? Could be fun!

DJ - that pic was taken during the summer at the fair - hot, hot!

Parsley - paper hats, jokes and cheesy trinkets = fun! I'll be posting about it later...
