Thanksgiving weekend fun

The five us took a little trip on Saturday to downtown Frederick, about 40 minutes away.

Leftover Halloween fun?

Window shopping

Strolling along the canal.

The benefit of coming early? Not many people!

The boys liked this one.

Great weather for the ducks.

Fun fall grates.

 The local firehouse.

Cute!

Lunch at Brewer's Alley.

St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, I believe.

Back to UMBC for Gman1, already looking forward to Christmas holidays!

DH took a break from collecting the leaves to say goodbye.

In stitching news, I'm almost finished with this but still have lots more I'd like to do.

And it's almost time for this guy (Spike) to visit our house. I think he's going to be busy this year!

Looks like a great trip. Your Mill Hill looks fantastic. I hope you post Spike's adventures. It's always enjoyable to read.

Wow - never knew Frederick was so cool! A canal? To me, it's always be the place where traffic gets nasty (or thins out if one is headed the other way). Looks like you all had a lovely visit.

Your perf paper ornaments look great! Wish I could find the one I stitched years ago but never finished...

I don't think I've ever seen Frederick with so few people before! What a lovely excursion with your family!
