Welcome to the second word of the Scavenger Photo Hunt for April. Another late entry for me!
Farm...
This was taken one fall during a train ride with the family while we were all at my parents house in western Maryland. A scenic ride from Cumberland to Frostburg on a steam locomotive.
Sweet little Nathan riding a tractor at a nearby farm while pumpkin picking.
Another fall pumpkin trip with the boys "hiding" in the corn maze.
The cows look longingly at those yummy pumpkins.
One rolled down the hill and they were all trying to get at it to enjoy it!
It's not often that you can see a farm from above, but we did see this from a balloon ride we went on.
The cows were wondering what the heck was going on! (You can read about the trip here... Flying high!)
The same farm at Christmas to get our tree.
Different tree farm, but fun.
This is an oldie from when my parents used to take us to Ohio to visit friends for Thanksgiving. This was on an Amish farm.
This might be an even older one, when my Dad and I were in Devon together one summer.
Not your typical farm, who knew you could grow beer?! 🤣🍻How nice that this is actually quite close to us and with plenty of room to social distance outside here.
I don't have anything farm related for stitching, but I was stitching this while AT the beer farm a couple years ago, does that count?!
I hope you've seen the other farm photos, I'm catching up and will see them tomorrow.

Great selection of photos. My favourite has to be the cows eating the runaway pumpkin! I suppose today one could use a drone to get an aerial view of a farm, with their permission of course!
It never occurred to me that cows would like to eat pumpkins - but why not? Sweet and full of sugars and a nice change from grass!
This is a fun photo line up, you are adorable with your Father.
Have a wonderful week.

Awesome photos Astrid. I do miss your Friday stitching ground.

Great photos and the boys hiding in the corn maze is only very slightly creepy! Yes I did spot Nathan too!
P reg cars definitely date that photo to about 1976! We do still have the red phone boxes but a lot of them have been repurposed now.
And a Beer Farm sounds much more interesting than a Hop Farn too!
My friend's husband was a Pig Farmer but she always said they had a Sauage Farm because that's what they made.
A great photo of you with your dad on the tractor, and the cows look like they are playing football with that pumpkin. Favourite for me just has to be the view in the first shot, it looks lovely there and somewhere I could imagine myself living :)
Oh, I love all your farm photos, Astrid, especially the first one. Thank you for sharing.
Great photos Astrid -they brought back a lovely memory for me of being in Philadelphia a long time ago and travelling around at pumpkin harvest time including a visit to an Amish town - looking at the wonderful quilts there convinced me not to try stitiching lol. Definitely what you were stitching at a beer farm counts :)
Oh Nathan was so little and already driving a tractor! Love seeing the farm from above, very different perspective.
Great photos! The tree with the faces is perfect.
