Looks like we'd better hit the liquor store by tomorrow afternoon.

So if we lose power, no worries, we'll do what we did at the lake many years ago - instant beer/wine chest!

In the meantime, here's what's been going on.
The kitties finally got a new climbing tree, I think they like it!

Ming looks like the kitty cat clock!

Last week I had a stitching a date with DJ, and we went to the Fractured Prune first. Donuts made to order, they didn't last long. Next time, my treat!

Nathan (and DH) made his Pinewood Derby car and won 1st in his den and 2nd overall in the pack. He was so happy!

Seems appropriate, Snowdrops in the garden.
Too bad they'll be covered soon.

I finally started "Emerald Green". I'm using Crystal Twilight and can't wait to see it finished.

So I think I'll have enough to keep me busy while snowed in. And if not, I'll sure I'll be able to find something else to stitch in my mess of a craft room!

These snowmen could be built here with real snow - we have already had up to 20". But from tomorrow on you can build them at your place, too, lol. Poor little snowdrop ...
Very nice start on your Mirabilia.

Wow you are really moving right along with your mermaid!! I see you have your kitties to keep you warm! LOL Now that I have Fractured Prune to entice you, maybe you'll be making the trek across 32 more often? Congratulations to Nathan!! His Batman car looks fantastic!!I think we should be snowed in together...stay safe over there, my friend!!

Congratulations to Nathan (and thanks to Dad!) for winning the derby! We had a whole lot of snow, then it lightened up, and now it is starting again--all since Noon today! But you are definitely in the hot spot! Stay warm and safe!

Oh I wish we were getting that snow storm. It's totally missing us here in Northern Indiana this time. I hope your power stays on. Love the makeshift fridge haha. The cat tree is very nice. Definitely looks like they love it. Congrats to Nathan! Your stitching looks perfect on that fabric.
