Stitching Bags 👜

I saw these at Target yesterday while shopping with a friend. I love bags and these are the ones I've seen people stitch on, sooo...

A couple of them found they found their way into my cart!

I'm thinking a mermaid on the blue, but I'm not sure about the little one. Maybe a dragon?!
Has anyone stitched on them yet? They have a liner inside and I'm not sure if I need to cut it out, or just stitch with it in place.
I'm not sure when I'll be able to work on them, I have a few projects going on at the moment, but I'm excited about them!

  2. Great find, many years ago I stitched bags for our nieces and nephews for Christmas. They were pencil, case size and I added their names, very effective - good luck with your project

  3. What a great idea! A mermaid and a dragon would be perfect for them, and for you! If you had the patience to use a curved needle you could possibly get away with not having to cut out the lining or stitch through it (in theory!) :)

  7. These are going through a huge surge in popularity on the cross stitching subreddit! My favorite so far has been this bag! They stitched with the liner in, but not sure if they used a curved needle. It does take a LOT of floss for good coverage!
