Today's stitching ground brought me to the pool to cool down after picking corn in the morning with the youth group. Since I couldn't be at the beach, I figured stitching this after swimming was better than nothing!

Astrid: All right, I admit it. This is pretty cool. It's... *amazing*. He's amazing.
Thanks for all your amazing rawrs!
FYI - If you don't have an email address listed, I can't respond to you directly. You can always email me your email address if you don't want it out there for all to see!
I've always volunteered in our community for the past 25 years in lots of different ways.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great.
Poor mum, hoping she is soon back home relaxed. Has her new dog arrived yet? Xx
Another great place to stitch. I would love to volunteer but I can barely walk or stand for more than 5 minutes. Your piece looks great. Glad Mom is doing better.

What a sweet piece you are stitching. Good news about your mother Astrid.
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching, Astrid! The fabric looks nice to stitch on.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your mother will be back home soon!
Hugs,
Barbara xx
I volunteer at the local Ronald McDonald House doing data entry. I'm also Treasurer and Product Sales Coordinator for my daughter's/granddaughter's Girl Scout Troop and used to volunteer in my granddaughter's classroom, but now that she's in Middle School, I won't be doing that anymore. BTW, I still love that mermaid.
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching Astrid, hope your Mum comes home soon. Volunteers are vital in many organisations, I've been involved with Scouting since I was 16 :-)
ReplyDeleteYour stitching looks great! Wonderful place to stitch if you can't be by the real ocean. Hope your mom is doing better. I think of her every day.
ReplyDeleteYour little mermaid is looking so cute. Sending get well thoughts to your Mom - hopefully she's home soon!
ReplyDeleteLove that mermaid.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I run a Baby & Toddler Group and I'm on the PTA for my younger son's school. I help out there sometimes too.
I also Admin a Support and Information Group on FB.
In the past I have done telephone helpline volunteering. Apart from the year I took off when my older son was born I have held a voluntary position of some kind for 20 years!
