THinking THoughts, and being THankful on THursdays.


Quick, what three things are you thankful for today?!

 1 ~ Arriving safely, in spite of the rain, to my stitching destination with friends.
2 ~ Laughing, talking, stitching with those friends, and having two more join us tomorrow!
3 ~ Having a warm place to sleep on this chilly, wet night, and having DJ with me!

    1. An envelope arrived from a stitching friend who is not a million miles from you right now.
    2. Lots of stitching progress on my current project
    3. My friend's fundraiser is only £25 away from hitting target!

    Well, it is now Friday. I'm thankfu;l for my DH who spent the morning in garden centers with me. I'm thankful for my sweet DIL who texted me several times today. And I'm thankful for a nice bit of sun shine we had when only rain was predicted.

    A quick three things I am thankful for:

    1. Having a healthy, happy, 90 year-old mom to celebrate Mother's Day with.
    2. Having a healthy, happy, all-grown-up son to celebrate Mother's Day with.
    3. Having a healthy, happy, helpful husband to assist with all this celebrating! :)

    Last Thursday I was thankful for .....
    A box of tissues to help with my cold
    A hot cup of tea to soothe the throat

    1. My boisterous year 10s being not so boisterous
    2. Being able to spend an evening with the husband rather than working
