Happy St. David's Day to you! What a wonderful celebration. I know your Dad will love his gift. And those pastries look so delicious!!! RJ@stitchingfriendsforever
All these daffodil posts make me think I must have been Welsh in an earlier life. My mother's daffodils are blooming but ours have just now started to peek out of the ground! I can't wait to collect a few blooms. I really like your Blossom by Blossom stitch!
The only time I've heard about this is from your blog. It's exactly why I love blogs. I learn so much. Your finish is cute. Good luck figuring out how to finish it. Our daffodils aren't open yet either. I always worry about them because they come up so early and we are now going to get snow on top of them.
Those welsh cakes looks yummy ... my daughter bought me a bunch of daffodils and they do bring a reminder that spring is definitely on the way after all the wind/snow we've had
*How to Train your Dragon* [riding on Toothless's back with Hiccup] Astrid: All right, I admit it. This is pretty cool. It's... *amazing*. He's amazing.
Thanks for all your amazing rawrs! FYI - If you don't have an email address listed, I can't respond to you directly. You can always email me your email address if you don't want it out there for all to see!
I hope everyone enjoys your celebration. I feel like I have learned about a new holiday by reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteThis will be a wonderful gift for your dad Astrid. This is a great post my friend!

ReplyDeleteGreat stitched Welsh dragon. And the Welsh cakes look delicious. I have to look up how they are made.
ReplyDeleteThe dragon is lovely. My parents nearly spent St David's Day in Wales because of the snow but they managed to get home two days before.
