ReplyDeleteOff to get some chocolate now! :o)
It's me! I'm a bit late with my hopping. There is a back story with this piece. My dad didn't like most holidays/special days - Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. - commercialised rubbish he thought. But for some reason, not Valentine's Day. So mom would get a few flowers, a TON of chocolate (which she loved) and the sappiest card he could find. So, when I saw this I had to stitch it - Valentines and chocolate are forever connected for me.
